Check token authorities
Mint authority can create more supply and freeze authority can restrict token accounts. Inspect the current on-chain state using the exact token mint before taking action. A familiar name or ticker does not confirm token identity.
Revoke authority carefully
Revoking mint or freeze authority is normally permanent. It can strengthen a project’s stated supply policy, but it also removes future administrative options. Confirm the connected wallet is authorized and review the transaction simulation.
Burn Solana tokens
Burning permanently removes a selected amount from the wallet balance and reduces supply according to the token program. The action cannot be undone, so verify the mint, amount, decimals, and remaining balance.
Safe wallet practices
Token Club never needs a recovery phrase. Use a trusted wallet, verify the site domain, keep enough SOL for fees, and reject unexpected requests. Support will not ask you to transfer assets to “verify” or “unlock” a wallet.
Frequently asked questions
Can a revoked mint authority be restored?
No. Once mint authority is set to none, the token program does not provide a way to restore it.
What happens when tokens are burned?
The selected tokens are permanently destroyed and the token supply is reduced according to the on-chain instruction.
Why can’t my wallet revoke an authority?
The connected wallet must currently control that authority, and the token program and token state must support the requested action.
Is revoking authority always the right choice?
Not necessarily. It is a permanent design decision that should match the token’s published operating model.
